I think my awareness of my perfectionism has improved. I did however spend too long dwelling over colors and divisions.
I've had some previous experience practicing meditation. I found it vital and important for my own wellbeing. Although I've always found meditation difficult during the times I've attempted. It's being more useful at times when I'm relatively calm.
He really has outlined a great method to develop mindfulness. I hadn't really explored the idea of meta-attention. In the past, I had difficulty with being distracted. This was especially problematic during times of study.
If a distraction occurs, or your mind wanders, this can be used:
1. Acknowledge
2. Experiencing, without judging or reacting
3. If you need to react, continue maintaining mindfulness
4. Let it go
Yes. My meta-attention has improved and I intend to be more aware of it. It's very handy and vital to my mind training.
This is being a good experience for me and I hope to incorporate Mindfulness and Meditation practices into my schedule.
